How Resubly works.
Short, practical pages on setting up Resubly and keeping your renewal dates honest. Search at the top, or browse by topic below.
Getting started
What Resubly does
Resubly tracks every SaaS contract you pay for and alerts the accountable owner before the cancellation notice window closes.
Create your account and organization
Signing up creates your login, your organization, and your owner access in one step. What each field is for, and how to join one that already exists.
Reading your dashboard
What the four dashboard cards actually count, how the action queue decides what is urgent, and why a contract quietly drops off it.
Contracts
Add your first contract
Two ways to add a subscription: upload the contract PDF and confirm what was read out of it, or type the details in yourself.
Import contracts from a CSV
Bring an existing renewal spreadsheet into Resubly: up to 500 rows, mapped column by column, in whichever date format you use.
Review extracted contract details
Uploaded contracts land in a review queue. Nothing reaches your renewal list until you have checked the fields and approved it.
Contract fields explained
What each date and term field means, and how your cancellation deadline is worked out from the renewal date and the notice period.
Manage a subscription
Edit terms on a live contract, understand what each of the five statuses means, and know what happens when you archive rather than delete.
Renewals and alerts
How renewal alerts work
Alerts count down to your cancellation deadline rather than the renewal date: 30, 14, 7, 3, 1, and 0 days, plus one after it passes.
Choose where alerts go
Set daily or weekly delivery, choose who receives renewal alerts, add extra addresses beyond the owner, and connect Slack in one click.
Track renewals on the pipeline
The renewals board moves each contract through four stages, from needing a decision to ready to sign, with a finance approval gate.
Reports
Team and settings
Invite your team and set roles
Invitations are free, there are no per-seat fees. Five roles control who can see and change what, organization wide or per department.
Departments and team access
Departments group subscriptions by the team paying for them, which drives filtering, reporting, and department-scoped access.
Custom fields on contracts
Add your own fields to every contract, for the things your finance process needs that Resubly does not ship by default, and choose where they appear.
Dates, currency, and renewal style
Set the date format and reporting currency, and choose whether renewals use a one-step confirm or a full approval workflow.
Export your data
Download your subscriptions and your billing history as CSV, at any time, with no request process. The export is the same shape the importer reads.
Billing and plans
What the Free and Pro plans include, how to change your billing interval, what happens past the Free limit, and where to find invoices.
Your profile and password
Change your display name and your password. Your email address is fixed, because it is both your login and the address renewal alerts arrive at.
Organization settings and deletion
Change your organization name and billing address, and understand exactly what happens if you schedule the organization for deletion.
